Ralph served in the Michigan National Guard.

Ralph A. Dice, 65, of Fostoria passed away Tuesday (May 20, 2008) at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home.

He was born March 6, 1943 in Detroit, the son of Ralph H. and Wilma (Kourt) Dice. He married Marcia Helwig on May 11, 1963. He and Marcia just celebrated their 45th anniversary.

Ralph owned and operated his own industrial-type nuts and bolts business for many years. Later in life, he went to work on the road as an over-the-road truck driver which he was active in doing until his illness. Ralph also loved his small farm in Fostoria, he loved being outdoors and watching things grow. But most, the love of Ralph's life was his wife Marcia and their family. His warm smile and his willingness to help whenever, wherever, and whoever will be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Marcia; his children, Michelle, Paula and Benjamin; grandchildren, Felicia and Maverick; brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Cathy Dice; sister and brother-in-law Lynn and Sherley Mumaw; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Memorial gifts of rememberence can be directed to the Lutheran Hospice of Hope, 9710 Junction Road, Frankenmuth. MI 48734-9592 or to the charity of one's choice.

Funeral services were held Thursday (May 22, 2008) at the Hanlin Funeral Home, Millington. Celebrant Elaine Bickel delivered the eulogy and closing prayers. Following the funeral, in keeping with Ralph's wishes, cremation has taken place.
