In Memory of Mary Ruth Chapman passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011.She passed away November 09, 2011in Dallas County, Cedar Hill, Texas.

She was born May 21, 1924 in Pope,Tennessee to Sims Clayton Beasley and Vera Ann Victor Polan.

Mary Ruth was the first of 11 children.

She married Aubrey Lee Chapman of Ovella, Texas on April 08, 1943 in Dallas County, Texas.

Both lived in Grand Prairie over 40 years and were married 50 years before his passing on January 2, 1994. Mary Ruth continued to live in Grand Prairie, Texas another 17 years.

She has over one hundrened suriving descendants, with 5 children, 18 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren including all spouses of her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Lee Chapman; her brother Fred C. Beasley of Memphis, Tennessee;Joseph D. Beasley of Parsons, Tennessee; Thomas William (Pete) Beasley of Parsons, Tennessee.

She is survived by her five children: Ronald Lee Chapman and wife Lydia Chapman of Farmers Branch, Texas; Jerry Wayne Chapman of Grand Prairie, Texas; Charolett Ann Chapman Frazer and husband Leslie Wayne Frazer of Grand Prairie, Texas; Sheila Gail Chapman Dean od Houston, Texas and Debra Kay Chapman Booth and husband Terry Paul Booth of Springtown, Texas. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.

She is survived by one bother and six sisters: Mack A, Beasley of Decaturville, Tennessee; Frances E. Fisher of Grapevine, Texas; Helen Fay French of Lexington, Tennessee; Elizabeth Armstrong of Decaturville, Tennessee; Linda Lee Rushing of Decaturville, Tennessee; and Wilma Sue Johnson of Parson, Tennessee.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great and great, great nieces and nephews.

Mary Ruth was a very caring and loving wife, mother, grannie and great-grannie, sister, aunt. friend and neighbor of many. She was a child of God since the age of 15 and that was when she sat in the back of the church. She prayed daily for her loved ones and all that crossed her path. And anyone who stopped by, even for just minutes, never left her home hungry.

On Thursday, November 10, 2011 she left with her sweet Jesus on the Angel Express but she will forever remain in all of our hearts.

Visitation: 2 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home.

Funeral Service Sunday, November 13, 2011 | 2:00p.m. Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas.

Interment will follow in Red Oak Cemetery.
