Age 71, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2000 at his home.
    Former member of the Illinois National Guard. Retired from Fischer Body.
    Preceded in death by his parents, Edgar R. and Eva L. (nee Hicks) Knight.
    Survived by his children, Gary (Sherryn) Knight, Vickie (Edward) Shrake, Debby (Terry) Jackson, Cynthia (James) Larson and Dean (Dina) Knight; three sisters, Mickey Shaw, Jean Noworolnikt and Betty Knight; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; devoted friends, Rick and Kathy Scheidt and Tracy Featherly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    A memorial service will be held at the Grant-Tapella-Freitag Westwood Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 28, 2000 at 7:30 PM. Visitation Thursday from 3 PM until the time of service. Interment private. Memorial contributions to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
