Deborah J. McFadden, 76, of Lakeview, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 1, 2010, at Heartland of Indian Lake.

Deborah was born in Lima on June 30, 1934, a daughter of the late Charles Joseph Sr. and Eva M. Miller Zink.

She married Robert E. McFadden, and he died Dec. 22, 2000. She also was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Joseph Zink Jr.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia L. Zink of Mobile, Ala.; two nieces, Debra (Joe DeGennaro) Nelson of Huntsville and Donna Young of Richwood; and four nephews, Brian (Tami) McFadden of Mt. Victory, Richard N. (Julie) Zink of Minot, Maine, Steven (Elizabeth) Zink of Lexa, Ariz., and Jeffrey (Karen) Zink of Texarkana, Texas.

Deborah retired from Bob Evans and was a former beautician and shopkeeper. A member of the Church of Christ in Rushsylvania, she enjoyed bingo and word searches, and loved attending her weekly Bible study group.

A funeral begins 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial is in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
