Patricia Kay "Pat" Atchison, 58, died Friday, February 28, 1997, at her home in Kirwin.

She was born October 29, 1938, in Arcadia to Ralph and Lorraine (Oldhousen) McAfee.

She married Darrell Atchison November 13, 1955. She was a homemaker and member of the United Methodist Church, the Night Circle, of the United Methodist Church, and the KK Club, all of Kirwin.

Patricia Kay McAfee Atchison was born October 29, 1938, in Arcadia and died February 28, 1997, at her home in Kirwin at the age of 58.

Pat was the third of six children born to Ralph and Lorraine (Oldhousen) McAfee.

Pat moved to Kirwin in May 1953 and was married to Darrell Dean Atchison November 13, 1955. To this union two children were born: Brook Dean, July 5, 1969, and Bridgette
Kay, November 12, 1973. Patti and Darrell joined the Kirwin United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Night Circle. She was a member of the KK Club in Kirwin.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell of the home, Kirwin; one son, Brook and wife, Marguerite and granddaughter, Miranda Marie of rural Kirwin; one daughter, Bridgette
Constable and granddaughter, Ashley Kay of Beloit; three brothers: Ralph William "Bill" McAfee and family of Dallas, Texas, Harry Maurice McAfee and family of Pineville, Missouri, and Michael Barton McAfee and family of Brush Creek, Tennessee; one sister, Karran Lorraine Smith and family of Farlington; and numerous nieces and nephews
and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 4 at 10 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with Reverend Dennis Hanna and Rev. Harold Ellis officiating.

Casket bearers were: Jim DeBey, Don Hayes, Lovell Elliott, Jim Sweat, Jerry Hagman and Philip Speake. Honorary bearers were: Joy Roy and Doyle Conrad.

Interment was in the Kirwin Cemetery.
