Alice G. "Gee" Still, 88, of Wilson died Oct. 12 at St. John's Hospital Living Center in Jackson.

She was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Grettinger, Iowa, and had lived here most of her life.

Mrs. Still was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital and DePaul Hospital.

She married Howard S. Still in 1935, and they moved to Cheyenne, where he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as an engineer.

They had four children - two sons, Daniel Still and Myles Still, who both attended the U.S. Naval Academy, and two daughters, Janice and Maureen, who both married and lived elsewhere.

In June 1972, Daniel was killed flying a Navy jet, so her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Still, and their two son, Monte Still and Rande Still came back to Cheyenne to be near Alice and Howard.

Howard died in June of 1995 and Alice then resided in Jackson with her son, Myles and daughter, Renee, until her death.

She was a member of the Cheyenne Nursing Association.

Mrs. Still is survived by a son, Myles Still of Jackson; daughters, Janice Still Richmond of Denver and Renee MacKay of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
