The entire citizens of Winder were saddened last Friday morning when the news went out that Mrs. J. W. Sheats was dead. She was taken seriously ill the day before, and few were aware of this fact, until they learned she was dead. On account of her gentle and lovable character, she was loved by all who knew her. Her death brought gloom and sorrow to many hearts. If it can be said of anyone, they had not a single enemy, it truly can be said of Mrs. Sheats. The husband and three little children have the sincere sympathy of everyone in our city.
