EAST LIVERPOOL - Susan Catherine Hester, 86, formerly of 9th Avenue, LaCroft, died at 4:15 a.m., Saturday, April 17, 2010, at East Liverpool Convalescent Center No. 1.
Born in Dunmore, Pa., on April 26, 1923, a daughter of the late Vasil and Katarina Fvoch Frederick, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Aloysius Community Parish.
She was preceded in death Dec. 17, 2005, by her husband, Patrick J. Hester.
Surviving are her daughters, Patricia A. Sines of East Liverpool, Susan C. Hester (and Robert J. Bailey) of Columbus, and Barbara J. Hester of East Liverpool; as well as five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Frederick and Anne Leo; and a brother, Paul Frederick.
The Rev. Fr. Peter Haladej is to conduct a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home.
Burial is to be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
