William C. Anderson, 73, died Sunday afternoon. A resident of Monroeville, he died at his farm four miles south of town. He is survived by his wife, Emma; four sons, Robert, John, Albert, and Floyd; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie McClure and Mrs. Betty Lehrman; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

William C. Anderson, 73, died of a heart attack shortly before 4 p.m. yesterday at his farm four miles south of Monroeville. His residence was *** Allen St. in Monroeville.

Mr. Anderson, still active in farming, was a native of Indiana and spent most of his life near Monroeville. He belonged to the East Liberty United Brethren Church.

Surviving are his wife Emma; four sons, Robert of Fort Wayne, John and Albert of Monroeville and Floyd of Yoder; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie McClure, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Betty Lehrman, Decatur; one stepdaughter, Mrs. John Smith, Cleveland; one stepson, Clifford Hertel, Convoy, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Marquart Funeral Home in Monroeville. Burial will be in the Monroeville IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today.
