L. DEAN DIES IN ACCIDENT

Rogers, Aug. 12 -- Lloyd Dean, son of Henry Dean of Walnut Hill, died Wednesday night two hours after he was caught in a wood saw which he was operating at his home at Walnut Hill, ten miles northeast of Rogers.
Both Lloyd's arms were torn from his body and both legs were badly mangled. He also sustained deep abdominal wounds.
Funeral services were held at Walnut Hill this afternoon. The young man is survived by his wife; a small son and daughter; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Smiley of Wichita, Kans., and Mrs. Della Campbell of Rogers; two brothers, Earl and Ralph, east of Rogers; and a second cousin, Walter Dean, Rogers night marshal.
