CHESTER-Services for Blanton Monroe Mullis will be at 4:30 P.M. today in Pleasant Olive Cemetery. Mullis, 81, died Wednesday, March 11, 1998. Born in Dodge County, he was the son of the late Samuel and Lena S. Mullis. The widower of Lillian J. Mullis, he was retired from Mohawk Carpet Co. of Dublin. He was a member of Chester United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his Children, Shirley Braswell of Dudley, Earl Mullis of Dexter, and Wyndell Mullis and Jerry Mullis both of Chester; brother and sister, Wank Mullis of Cochran and Hazel Stroup of Martinez; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family may be contacted at 1782 Hillbridge Road, Dudley. Fisher Funeral Home in Cochran has charge of arrangements.
