Esther Wiedeman (Koppin) Lincoln
GRINNELL, — Esther Wiedeman Lincoln, 95, of Grinnell died Monday, Dec. 3, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell with the Rev. John Epperson, pastor of the Grinnell Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton.
Friends may call Wednesday after noon at the funeral home. Memorials will be accepted to the American Cancer Society. The daughter of Charles and Lena Koppin, she was born April 15, 1906, in rural Newton. She graduated from Newton High School. On Sept. 13, 1941, she married Charles Wiedeman in Columbia, Mo. They lived in Newton and she was a house cleaner.
After her husband's death in 1966, she married Virgil Lincoln on Nov. 7, 1973, in Nashua. They lived in Grinnell. There are no immediate survivors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and six sisters.
