Sam Moyte Cabrera, 41, of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, died of an aneurysm Monday, March 4, 2002 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Cabrera was born Aug. 31, 1960 in Oxnard. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1978 and lived in St. Croix for 10 years. He was a construction supervisor for the Virgin Islands for seven years. He is survived by his wife of four years, Annamarie Cabrera of St. Croix; two sons, Jonathan Ryan Cabrera of Hawaii and Alexander Richard Cabrera of Florida; a daughter, Jasmine Ramona Cabrera of St. Croix; his parents, Sam V. and Ramona M. Cabrera of Barstow; brothers Benjamin Cabrera of Las Vegas, Nev., Michael Cabrera of Hesperia and Jeffrey Cabrera of Springfield, Tenn.; sisters Cynthia Grow and Caroline Cabrera, both of Barstow, and Barbara Gandara of Wildomar; and 15 nieces and nephews.
