The death of Joseph B. Cushman occurred suddenly Saturday after an illness of only a few minutes. He complained of a pain in his stomach. The Rev. Frank Holkerk was calling on Mr Cushman and his wife at the time, when they went to the dining room and found Mr Cushman unconscious and he died immediately.
He was born 5/28/1834 and was married 2 times. First to Mary Jane Dingman and on 1/5/1905 he married Adelaide E. Daunt? He is also survived by 4 children: Mrs R.M. Bigelow of this place, Mrs Edward Wall and Mrs C.H. Mowers of Syracuse, and Mrs William Simmons of Little Falls, 3 brothers, Leonard Cushman, William Cushman, and George Cushman, and 2 sisters, Mrs Ruth Wiltse of Burlington, Vt, and Mrs E.E. Conklin of Fly Creek.
