MIDVALE--Jose Delfino Jaramillo, 82, died November 22, 1994 of natural causes.

Born December 29, 1911, in Petaca, New Mexico, to Manuel and Sarita Gallegos Jaramillo.

Moved to Bingham Canyon, Utah in 1939. Employed by Kennecott Copper as a miner, and worked for the drill and blast department retiring in 1972 after 34 years of service.

Served in the US Army during World War II, in Europe, the beaches of Normandy, and North Africa. He was awarded a Bronze Star and received an honorable discharge at Fort Douglas on Oct. 15, 1945.

Although he never married, he served as a mentor and was very supportive to many relatives and friends, and was thoughtful and generous.

Survived by three brothers, Gabino Jaramillo, Juan (Arcilia) Jaramillo, Eloy (Thelma L.) Jaramillo; sister, Mrs. Julio (Manuelita Jaramillo) Valdez and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 1994 at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 75 East Lennox, Midvale. Viewing at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Friday, November 25th from 6-7:30 p.m. with a Rosary to follow.
