PORTSMOUTH - Carey N. Hill, 55, of the 900 block of Taft Drive, a substitute teacher, died January 9, 1988, in a hospital.
Mr. Hill, a native of Portsmouth, was employed with Norfolk public schools. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Sylvester James and a brother, Matthew N. Hill, both of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Mount Carmel Baptiswt Church by the Rev. E.T. Knight. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Norfolk.
