He was born December 31, 1910, in Seneca, KS, to Edward and Mary Haug. He moved to Daytona Beach, FL, in 1936.
He was married to Josephine Durham in the late 1930's. She died in 1975.
He was a carpenter and helped build St. Paul's Catholic School and Port Orange Elementary School. In later years he was superintendent of maintenance in the Condominium-Pendelton Club until his retirement at Daytona Beach.
He is survived by son, Gary Haug, Daytona Beach, FL; daughter, Sharon Tramont, Port Orange, FL; brothers, Edwin Haug, Wichita, KS; Wilfred Haug, Winona, MN; Gerald Haug, Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents; sister, Alice Haug in infancy; Mary Grace; and brothers, Omer Haug; and Emmett Haug.
Funeral mass was at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Daytona Beach, FL
