Verdie V. Petersen Osborne passed away quietly at her Salt Lake home January 2, 1992 of causes incident to age.

Born August 16, 1906 to Adam Henry and Verdie Amelia Post Petersen in Park City, Utah. Graduated from LDS Business College May, 1923. Worked for Eitel McCullough during World War II. She was also an Avon Lady for many years in the Salt Lake area. Homemaker and member of the LDS Church.

Survived by her children, Daniel T. Noffsinger, Clyde N. Noffsinger, both Salt Lake City; John A. Noffsinger, Scio, Oregon; Nancy H. Geeslin, Marva H. Simmerling, both Beaverton, Oregon; Patricia M. Larsen, Midvale; 37 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Glen C. Petersen, Elmer A. Petersen, both of Sacramento, Calif.; Iris P. Sanders, Santa Rosa, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by husbands, Daniel M. Noffsinger and John E. Hansen, Sr.; Palmer B. Osborne; daughter, Norma V. Ratliff; brothers, Fred Petersen, Don M. Petersen; sisters, Delpha D. Petersen and Zelma K. Cantrall.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, January 6, 1992, at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m.and Monday, one hour prior to services.

Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
