Funeral for Joe F. Jackson, 74, of Somerville will be Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Bond officiating.

Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson, who died Friday, April 16, 2010 at his residence, was born September 9, 1935, in Limestone County to Arthur Wilson Jackson and Maggie Ora Walls Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie J. Jackson; two daughters, Regina A. Bailey of Somerville and Dawn L. Johnson (Doug) of Elkmont; godson, Tony Joe Lovell of Athens; sister Mattie Griffith of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Thomas B. Roberts Jr., Ashley N. Young, John J. Bailey, Britlley L. Johnson, and Nicholas T. Johnson; and one great grandchild, Gage Thomas Roberts.

Mr. Jackson was a Baptist. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and the owner and operator of F.L. Peppers Trucking and Somerville Grocery Store.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
