Opal is the eldest daughter of Robert Lee and Kate (Crozier) Akins and sister of Ruby Akins, Jewel Akins Williams, and Robbie Akins. She is the beloved aunt of Ellen Williams Workman and Grady Williams Jr. She was married to Emit Lelon Little for many years.
Opal was an excellent seamstress and did beautiful handwork. She was also a good cook. When she lived in the country, she always had a cat, a dog, and chickens. The baby chickens in her little chicken house each spring were fascinating.
Opal was of the Baptist faith and loved old hymms. She lived her life in the Piney Community, except for the last five years or so that she spent in Stilwell. She is remembered with love.
