Elizabeth Parrish Saxon

Elizabeth Parish was the daughter of Ezekiel Parish and Cynthia Ann Murray Parrish. An infant brother died before she was born; her younger brother was John T. Parish. Elizabeth married McHenry "Mac" Saxon, son of Alexander Gillespie Saxon and Margaret McCrory Saxon, on May 31, 1859 in Fayette Co., IN. Their two sons were John Thomas "Tommy" Saxon and Walter Sherman Saxon.

The 1850 Harrison Twp., Fayette Co., IN Census lists the Parrish household next to the A. G. Saxon household; Elizabeth Parrish later married McHenry Saxon.
