Jesse Rabourn Dead
Jesse D. Rabourn died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lew Wyckoff, Wednesday morning at four o'clock, aged 75 years. Mr. Rabourn has only been making his home here a short time, having come from Oklahoma a few weeks ago. The funeral services will be held from the home Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery. The relatives have the sympathy of all.

Jesse D. Rabourn departed this life Wednesday, March 20, 1912, at the age of 75 years and 5 days, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L.[ouis] E. [lmer] Wyckoff in northeast Bedford, Iowa. He had been a sufferer for 9 months with Bright's disease.
Mr. Rabourn was born in Indiana, March 15th, 1837. In the year 1862 he was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Bair at Roseville, Warren County, Ill., where they lived until 1883 when they moved to Missouri. Mrs. Rabourn was called to that Beautiful home April 14, 1909. To this union were born 4 sons and 2 daughters, all of whom are living, besides brothers and sisters and other relatives and friends to mourn his loss. Mr. Rabourn united with the Baptist church while living in Illinois. His home was in Collinsville, Okla., where he was first taken ill, but he seemed so much better that he came to Iowa to visit his children. He visited at Hamburg three weeks and there he came to L. E. Wyckoffs. He was taken bad again on Wednesday before the end came on the following Tuesday. The funeral was preached at the home Friday at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Neyman of the Baptist church. Interment was in Fairview cemetery where the body was laid to rest beside that of his beloved wife.
