Karl G. H. Anderson, 89, of Roswell Rd., Carrollton, died December 27, 2001, in Mercy Medical Center in Canton. He was born January 11, 1912, in Trafford City, Pennsylvania, to the late Carl O. H. and Anna Pearl (Anderson) Anderson. He had worked for the Ohio State Highway Department for 18 years and the former Carrollton Manufacturing Company for nine years. He also worked in construction and carpentry. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Carrollton, Dellroy Odd Fellows, Carrollton Pelican Club and the VFW Post #3301. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Grace L. (Beckley) Anderson, whom he married November 27, 1942; three sons, Glenn (Elaine) Anderson of Carrollton, Lynn (Robin) Anderson of Carrollton, Paul Lee (Sandy) Anderson of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Norma (Edward) Ward of Marion, Donna (Larry) Ralston of Englewood, Colorado; three brothers, Eugene and Donnie Anderson, both of Dellroy, Arnold Anderson of Canton; one sister, Elvera Dingler of Dellroy; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Doyle Anderson. Funeral services were held December 30 in the Allmon-Dugger & Hively Funeral Home in Carrollton with Rev. Paul Camp officiating. Burial was in the Westview Cemetery with full military honors provided by the VFW, American Legion and the DAV.
