MR. Gary Gilliam died Friday, November 13, 2009, at his home, near Greenwood, Arkansas. Mr. Gilliam was 64 years, 5 months, and 7 days old. he was a retired having owned the Greenwood Otasco and affiliated with Bruce-Rogers Company, Farmers Insurance, and other investment properties.
He was the son of the late Darrell and Marie Gilliam.
He was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church; a past deacon of New Hope Baptist; a member of teh 188th Fighter Wing of the ANG; the former Class President of the 1963 Greenwood High School; a Sebastian County Justice of the Peace. He was an avid outdoorsmen, and enjoyed traveling and fishing.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Greenwood with interment at Dawson Cemetery, Milltown, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: John Paul Walker, Charlie Miller, Paul David Goldsmith, Tommy Shockley, John Ray Williams, and Dr. Tim.

Mr. Gilliam was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife: Brenda Gilliam.
He is survived by two sons: Kyle W. Gilliam and his wife: Jackie, and Blain Gilliam and his wife: Laura, all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a brother: Larry Gilliam of Mabelvale, Arkansas; a sister: Nancy Keisman and her husband: David, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; 5 precious grandchildren; other relatives; and close friends.
