Mack F. Jackson, 2215 Briarwood, died at St. Joseph's Hospital at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 1984.

Services were held on Friday, February 17, 1984 at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Fortenberry, pastor of East Paris. Baptist Church, officiated. Burial took place at Evergreen Cemetery, Paris.

Mr. Jackson was born on January 15, 1915 in Lamar County, Texas, a son of Taylor Jackson and Vina Titsworth Jackson. He attended Biardstown schools and married Miss Lola Hardin on November 7, 1934. He was a retired service station operator, having retired in 1965. He later worked for his son, Charlie Jackson, in the construction business. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors at the time of his death included his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Vickie) Hale of Plano; four sons, Charlie Jackson of Dallas, Frank Jackson of Parker, John Jackson of Wylie and Michael Jackson of Richardson; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Vina Jackson of Paris; two sisters, Mrs. Olgie Boyer of Paris and Mrs. Christine Gentry of Paris; two brothers, W. H. Jackson of Paris and James Jackson of Salina, Kan.
