Son of John Frederick Hudson, Sr. and Nancy Hardin Hudson.

John, who resided at 103 Franklin Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a 2nd Lieutenant and Pilot, B-25D Mitchell (#43-3292), U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on February 17, 1942 in Wilmington, Delaware. He was noted as being employed in Construction and as being Single, without dependents.

He was killed in a plane crash when his bomber exploded 25 miles south of Hunter Field, Savannah, Georgia during the war.

He had served in the Air Force for one year and ten months at the time of his death.
