Patricia "Pat" A. Jeffers, 82, Bloomington, died at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday (April 13, 2010) at Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was born Dec. 17, 1927 in Bloomington to Horace and Bertha Swaim Woodward. She married James J. Jeffers on June 10, 1950 in Bloomington. He passed away Nov. 19, 2006.
Surviving are her children, Catherine Helton and James H. (Aprille) Jeffers, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; Tim Jeffers, Bloomington and Colleen Jeffers, Normal; son-in-law, Rick Long, LeRoy; grandchildren, Matthew (Krissy) Helton, Justin Long and Kelli Long; great-grandchildren, Logan Helton and Lillian Long and sister, Betty Farmer, Michigan.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Jeffers; daughter, Chris Long and sisters, Dorothy Daugherty and June Cushing.
