THE PARIS NEWS, Jul. 26, 2002: 'Faye Potts, 88, of Sacramento, Calif., died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, in Mercy Methodist Hospital in Sacramento. Graveside services are set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27, in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Glynn Vickers officiating. Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born on Nov. 10, 1913, in Mississippi to John Arthur and Florence Elnora Elisha Ferrell Loftin. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She married Charles Elliott Potts Sr. on Oct. 6, 1941. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1999. Survivors include sons, Joe Potts and wife Tracy, and Charles Potts Jr. and wife, Sandra, all of Sacramento, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.'
