He was born in New Harmony, and was a retired auditor for Belknap Hardware Company.
He was a charter member of Grace Presbyterian Church and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Louise Berryhill Ross; son, David Ross and his wife, Libby, of Clarksville; and grandchildren, Monica and Alex Ross, both of Clarksville.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 to 7 p.m. today, and after 9 a.m. Friday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.
