MRS. JAMES L. TURRENTINE DIES SUDDENLY AT 48
Mrs. Elizabeth Calhoon McNerney Turrentine, 48,
daughter of Mrs. Grace Calhoon McNerney, 1234 South Garrison, died about noon Tuesday at her home in Stanford, Conn. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack
.
Born October 18, 1918 at Carthage, she was graduated from Carthage high school in 1936 and the University of Missouri in 1940. She was married Nov 2, 1940 to James L. Turrentine, vice president of Pitney-Bowes company, Stamford.
She was on the board of YWCA and the hospital auxillary, Stamford.
Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are four sons;

Steven 10 all of the home
a brother;
