GASTONIA - Mr. John Lock Kale 87, of 122 Burton Hills, died November 27, 1995, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

Funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Church and Rev. Dan P. Stowe officiating. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. today at Ward Funeral Home.

Mr. Kale was son of the late Walter A. Kale and Bessie Saunders Kale. He retired from Ti-Caro after 20 years of service. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Charlotte E. Harbin Kale of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Jeannette Clanton Hyleman of Gastonia and Mrs. Mable Pearson of Belmont; son-in-law, Mr. David Pearson of Belmont; two sisters, Miss Sallie Kale and Miss Naomi Kale, both of Givens Estate, Asheville; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tony Rikkard, Clyde Walker, Jack Powell, Albert Huffstetler, Andy Davis and John Crew. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Mack Men's Bible Class.

Memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, Budget Fund, 1511 E. Ozark Avenue, Gastonia, NC 28054.
