Henry H. Lauchley, Jr., age 86, was born and raised on a farm in Busy Corner, Mississippi. He proudly served our country in the Army in both WWII and Korea. He was a Texas Licensed Professional Engineer, working as a mechanical engineer and retiring from Brown & Root. He enjoyed his memberships in the American Legion and Downtown's Lion's Club.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Marie Lauchley and sister, Katherine Lauchley Steele. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carlee Hall Lauchley; daughters, Rosalind Brown, Carla Coke and husband John; son, Kevin Lauchley and wife Melody; grandchildren, Lynette, Matthew Brown and Andy Brown, Chelsea, Samuel and Shelby Coke, and Alex Sanchez.
Visitation was Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Funeral services were on Friday morning, April 9, 2010 at the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, followed by interment at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lion's Eye Bank of Texas or Texas Lion's Camp, Kerrville, TX.
