Donald D.Lemmer,78,of North Platte died Feb. 5, 2003,at his home.He was born Jan. 22, 1925, north of Cozad to William and Mary Kehr Lemmer. He was raised in Lexington where he graduated from high school. On Dec. 23, 1946, he married Doris Mutchie in Amherst. In 1952,he came to North Platte and was employed as a driver for Union Freightways, P.I.E, and Beeline Freight for 33 years. He retired in 1985. Mr. Lemmer was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.Survivors include three daughters, three sons, a daughter-in-law, two sisters, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. [NOTE: All names omitted to protect the privacy of the living.]He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond; a grandson, Brian; his parents, five sister and four brothers. Services will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in North Platte. Christian wake services will be at the church. Burial will be in the North Platte Cemetery.
