Rosales, 1507 Freeman St., Houston. he received his education at Jones Grammar and Jefferson Davis High Schools, Houston; entered the service July 10, 1943, assigned to the Army 29th Inf. Div.; trained at Camp Wolters, Texas; served in the United States for 5 1/2 months, and overseas 22 months, in Cornwall, England. Participated in D-Day operations, Normandy, Brest Peninsula, Holland, Belgium, Germany. Received 4 Battle Stars. He was wounded in 1944 by a tank shell while he worked on radio in France. Awards and credits: Bronze Star and Cluster, Purple Heart, Good Conduct, Citation with Bronze Star Cluster for the crossing of the Roer River. He was honorably discharged on October 18, 1945.
