Professional Wrestler. He made his professional debut in February of 1952 at the age of 24, and over his 40-year career came to be considered one of the greatest in the sport. He wrestled alongside of and against some of the very best: Bobo Brazil, Lou Thesz, and Dick The Bruiser and many others. Kiniski won a total of 26 Heavyweight Championships from various promotions, including the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Pacific Coast Championship, which he held seven times; and he also excelled as a tag team champion, holding 24 tag titles with many partners. He was a Cauliflower Alley Club honoree in 1992, was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2008, and into the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2009. He died of brain cancer at 81.
