Mrs. Cosper died Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Traylor Nursing Home in Roanoke.
A Randolph County native, she was born Oct. 6, 1903, daughter of Henry and Sarah Adline Reaves Lipham. She lived in Newell and Woodland most of her life and was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hulon Hampton Cosper.
Survivors include four daughters, Sarah Johnson and Louise Carson of Wadley, Bernice Wellborn of Holiday, Fla., and May Hoolapa of Columbus, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and
several nieces and nephews.
Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
