Funeral plans have not yet been announced for Mrs. Hazel Kennell McCarney, a former Hagerstown resident, who died from results of a fall at her home in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
Relatives in this area had not received full details of the death. Mrs. McCarney reportedly fell while entering her home Friday night, and in falling struck her head a fatal blow.
She was 79 years old, and had lived in Hagerstown and Waynesboro before moving to Bridgeton eight years ago.
The survivors include a son, William Neiderhoffer, brother and sisters, A. S. Kennell, Waynesboro; Emmert Kennell, Bridgeton; Mrs. Motter Diffenderfer, Waynesboro; Mrs. C. R. Miller, Waynesboro; Mrs. George Summers, Narbeth, Pa.; Mrs. Iva Scott, Williamsport and Mrs. Robert Grove, Hanover.
