Leatrice Lorrayne Albert Nipper, age 83 of San Antonio, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010. She was born on January 18, 1927 to John A. and Inez A. Dullnig Albert in San Antonio, Texas.

As a girl growing up she was active in Girl Scouts and Luther League at Grace Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Brackenridge High School and a member of the Purple Jackets. Leatrice took art lessons at an Art Academy, and became a member of the Coppini Art Fraternity after studying under Dr. Coppini.

On September 1, 1950, she married Jack Nipper and shared 56 years of marriage. Her activities included all of her children, Church Altar Guild, Iota Zeta Chi Sorority, The San Antonio Lutheran Charity Coronation Association, San Antonio Conservation Society, where she managed NIOSA booth for 25 years.

Leatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Inez and John Albert and her husband, M.H. Jack Nipper.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Haecker and husband, Robert of Seguin, Lorrayne D. Giese and husband, Richard; son, Ronnie Nipper and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Ryan Northcutt, Richard Giese, II, Russell Haecker, Justin Haecker, Richelle and Riley Nipper; great-grandchildren, Emma, Noah, Benjamin and Hannah Haecker and brothers, Jerry Albert and Kenneth Albert.
