Henry's tombstone and death certificate show his birthdate as 1 March 1866. However, his Naturalization papers show 1 March 1864.

From Kirchenbote, Vol 49 #27, 2 July 1931 (original in German):
Heinrich Feit was born on 1 March 1866 in Erlenbach (Remena) Russia, where he also was baptized and confirmed. In 1885 he was married to Eva Margareta Fromm. Twelve children were given to the couple, of which 5 preceded their parents in heaven. In 1906 the family came to America and came to La Pierre, Michigan where they stayed for a short time, coming to Windsor Colo. the same year. For 8 years they made it their home and he built up the church. In 1914 they came to Ft. Collins where he lived for the rest of his life and was an active member of the community. As a 25-year-old man he gave his life to the Lord and died in the belief of the same. In July 1918 his wife died, and in the same year he married the widow Reichert, now his grieving widow, with whom he shared 13 years of joy and sorrow, especially as she nursed him faithfully in the last weeks of his illness. Since the beginning of this year he has not felt well, and on 18 April he had an operation, in which gastric cancer was found. On 10 June, at 7 o'clock in the morning, he slept and will awaken on the morning of the resurrection. His age was 65 years, 3 months and 9 days. He leaves behind his second wife; 4 brothers, 2 left in Russia, one in South America and one in Windsor, Colo.; 2 sisters in Russia; seven children: Heinrich, Konrad, David, Friedrich, Mrs. Gottfried Hergert, Mrs. Alexander Greb and Mrs. Jakob Mill; seven step-children Jakob, Heinrich and Andreas Reichert, Mrs. Peter Schmeer, Mrs. Johannes Klamm, Mrs. Heinrich Reichert and Martha Reichert, the only child who is still at home, 24 grandchildren. His services were on 14 June where many people (over 1500 people) met at the Presbyterian church for his final rest. Pastor Zucher from the Evangelical Synod? and Past S. Hagelganz helped officiate. The sermon was given in 2 languages on Essb 14, 13(?). May the God of all comfort give comfort to those who are grieving and give them life again.
