Mrs. R. Mikkelson Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Robert Mikkelson, 51, resident of Antigo for 47 years, died suddenly Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at her home, 412 Seventh avenue.

Born Dora Patnode May 24, 1893, in Arkansas [sic], Wis., the deceased came to Antigo at the age of four. Thirty-one years ago she married Robert Mikkelson who survives her.

Other survivors are eight children, Mrs. Art (Myrtle) Ingalls, Mrs. Elmer (Lucille) Fritsch, Mrs. Walter (Lettie) Zoern, all of Antigo; Mrs. Robert (Luella) Harteau, Milwaukee; Mrs. Jay (Betty) West, Lily; Delphus, Edwin and Mary at home; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Mikkelson and Mrs. Myrtle Fuhrmann, Milwaukee, Mrs. Armenta Bashaw, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Genevieve Gates, Oregon; and three brothers, Alfred Patnode, Bryant; Marcell and Anthony Patnode, Washington. She also leaves 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the McCandless & Zobel funeral home, the Rev. George Alborn officiating. Burial will be in Polar cemetery.

The body will be at the funeral home from late this afternoon until the services.

Mrs. Robert Mikkelson

Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Mikkelson, who died suddenly Friday afternoon, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the McCandless & Zobel funeral home with the Rev. George Alborn officiating. Burial was in Polar cemetery.

Relatives coming from out of town for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harteau, Milwaukee; Mrs. Armenta Bashaw and daughters Leona, Manitowoc, and Laura, Milwaukee; Mrs. Herman Fuhrman, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mikkelson and daughters, Geneva, Milwaukee, and Irene and Alice, Rhinelander; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mikkelson, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Mikkelson, Rhinelander; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mikkelson, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bazil, Pickerel; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Walker, Lily; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Patnode, Mrs. Walter Reeves, Bryant; Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Mikkelson; Walter Mikkelson and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Pavek, Polar.
