Catherine Ziglar Carroll Bennett
KING - Catherine Ziglar Bennett, 96, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday May 19, 2019 at Priddy Manor Assisted Living. Catherine was born on April 4, 1923 in Forsyth County to the late Thomas William and Mary Frye Ziglar. She was a very faithful member of Green Valley Baptist Church. Catherine was a good Christian woman and loved the Lord. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Carroll; 2nd husband, Paul Bennett; 5 sisters; 1 brother; 2 stepsons, Harold Bennett and J.W. Bennett; and her stepgranddaughter, Marcia Bennett. She is survived by her stepchildren, Betty Tilley, Anne Stultz, and Linda Fulp; stepdaughter-in-law, Della Bennett; many step grandchildren; and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren. There will be an 1:00 pm funeral service held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Burroughs Chapel with Pastor Wayne Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Willow Oak Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 12-1 pm at Burroughs Funeral Home. The family would like to extend special thanks to all of the staff at Priddy Manor Assisted Living and Mt. Valley Hospice for all of the care they gave Catherine during her stay.
