WILSON, JESS – born in Scott County, Tennessee, March 27, 1888. Deceased this life in Scott County, Tennessee, December 30, 1971, at the age of Eighty Three Years, Nine Months and Three Days. He was the son of the late WILLIAM WILSON and the late REBECCA MOORE WILSON. He united in marriage with SAVANNAH STRUNK WILSON, March 30, 1912 and to this union were born seven children, two children preceded him in death. Survivors, wife, SAVANNAH STRUNK Wilson of Winfield, Tenn., two daughters, Mrs. SHERMAN WOOTON of Taylor Michigan, Mrs. RAYMOND WALKER of Muncie, Indiana, three sons, WOLFORD WILSON of Romulus, Michigan, LAWRENCE WILSON of Winfield, Tenn., BILL WILSON of Winfield, Tenn., two brothers, SAM WILSON of Winfield, Tenn., McKINLEY WILSON of Honeybee, Ky., one sister, NANCY TRAMMELL of Winfield, Tenn. He also leaves seventeen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He professed faith in Christ and united with the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church December 21, 1907, where he remained a member until his death.
