Mr. Barnes died Aug. 25, 2008, in Dallas.
He was born Jan. 31, 1961, in Bozeman, Mont. He grew up in Winnsboro and lived in Tyler for 25 years. He was a utility designer with TXU Energy, and was a Catholic.
Survivors include his son, Wesley Lane Barnes, Highland Village; daughter, Sydney Danielle Barnes, Highland Village; father, C.T. Barnes, Tyler; mother, Monique Harrison, Surprise, Ariz.; brothers, David E. Barnes, Albuquerque, N.M., and Donald R. Barnes, Sachse; sister, Caroline Harrison, Phoenix, Ariz.; and former wife and mother of his children, Ashley Barnes, Highland Village.
Family will receive friends 6-7 tonight at the funeral home.
