This is my grandmother, Thelma was preceded in death by her late son, Arthur E. Valkema / Schneider, Jr. and widow second husband, Arthur J. Schneider. She leave her son Donald E. Schneider. Born in Titus, Michigan in 1909. Her parents were Arthur Edwin & Millie Lavern (Kent) Silvernail and she had three sisters and two brothers, Delores, Dorothy, Wilma, Arthur (Roy) and Dale. She was married to her first husband, Arthur A. Valkema, and later she divorced him. They had a son together, Thelma later remarried to Arthur J. Schneider in August 11, 1931 in Michigan and had two sons, Donald, Arthur E., had a five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She loved her family, cat, cross stitch and sewing.Thelma second husband, Arthur J. Schneider adopted by her son (My dad, Arthur E. Valkema / Schneider), when he was 3 yrs. old.
