J.C. Haning of McLean Is Called

John C. Haning, a prosperous farmer of McLean, died at 11:45 o'clock Thursday night at St. Clara hospital in Lincoln. He had been suffering from cancer for two years.
Mr. Haning was born in Hopedale July 23, 1861, the oldest of a family of nine. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death. He was married February 26, 1884 to Mina Waldmier, who survives with two children, F.W. Haning of Windom Minn., and Mrs. George Woodmancy of McLean. Six grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Haning has lived in McLean since last fall. He moved there on account of his health from his farm five miles west of town.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the home in McLean.
