Samuel John Bevan was the first of three mayors of South Park, Washington from 1902-1903. South Park was incorporated 09 Dec 1902 and later became a part of the City of Seattle, Washington on 03 May 1907. Samuel came to Washington state from Iowa. He was born in England and was a plumber by trade.
