Dorothy Ryals Willis (Eiland), 79, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Dec. 2, 2006, in Singing River Hospital.
She was born Sept. 2, 1927. She was born to the late Elbert and Julia Ryals. She devoted her life to her family children grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked at Singing River Hospital as the Chief Switchboard Operator until she retired in 1991.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Preston McDuff Eiland and Ottis Lee Willis; three brothers, Elbert Ryals Jr., Samuel Ryals, Charles Ryals; and seven sisters, Hazel Roberts, Kathryn Morris, Bernell Vincent, Peggy Stewart, Bessie Ferrell, Estelle Harris and Addys Raines.
She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Tyrone (William) of Lucedale; three sons, Tommy Eiland (Charlotte) of Lucedale, Tim Eiland (Brenda) of Moss Point, Terry Eiland (Cheryl); seven grandchildren, John Tyrone, Ste-phen Tyrone, Justin Eiland, Jordan Eiland, Kyle Eiland, Brett Eiland all of Pascagoula, and Mac Eiland of Lucedale; two great grandchildren, Jada Tyrone and John Tyrone Jr. both of Lucedale; one twin sister, Doris Ryals Ladnier; and two brothers, Rayford Ryals (Frances) of Tupelo, Eugene Ryals (Betty) of Vancleave, Miss.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, 12 to 2 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, Miss.
Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Cecil Jones officiating.
Interment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula, Miss.
