William Officer.

A telegram was received yesterday by Charles T. Officer, announcing the death of his brother, William Officer, at his home in Kansas. Deceased was a son of the late Thomas Officer. He had been in ill health for several years and had gone to Kansas hoping that the climate would be beneficial to him. Mr. Officer left for Kansas upon receipt of the telegram and will bring the body to Council Bluffs today. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

W. P. Officer.

Funeral services for the late W. P. Officer, who died in Kansas, and whose remains arrived in the city last night, will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence of his mother, 123 South Seventh street. Rev. W. S. Barnes of the First Presbyterian church will officiate. Services will be private and interment will be made in Walnut Hill cemetery.
