Dorr Howitt died at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, on Saturday night after a short illness in his fifty-second year. He is survived by his wife, Helen Thompson Howitt, also four children: Walter, stationed in Hawaii: Ralph, stationed in Seattle, Wash; Laura, student in Syracuse University; Sara, a teacher in Farmingdale, L I; his mother, Mrs. Belle Howitt of Conesus; four brothers: Weldon and Richard Howitt of Long Island, Malcomb of East Henrietta and Mahlon of Conesus; one sister, Mrs Hollis Lawrence of Rochester. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday at two o'clock. Rev. Benon Topalian officiating. Burial was in Arnold Cemetery, Conesus.

CONESUS—Dorr Howitt, Conesus resident died Saturday. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Lieut Walter Howitt of Hawaii, and Sergt Ralph Howitt of Fort Lewis, Wash, and two daughters, Sara and Laura,at home; his mother, Mrs William Howitt of Conesus and several brothers.
Funeral services were conducted Jan 19, at 2 pm, from his late home. Burial was in Arnold Cemetery,
Conesus.
