Genesse E. Brandenburg, 91, of Paxton died at 9:50 a.m. Saturday (April 10, 2010) at the Illinois Knights Templar Home, Paxton.
She was born Dec. 31, 1918 in Buckley, the daughter of William and Lillian Elizabeth Wagner Berlett.She married Burleigh Max Brandenburg on April 26, 1955 in Arcola. He preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Samuel Maulding; two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by one son, Gary Max (Marti) Brandenburg, Kerrville, Texas; one daughter, Terri (Kent) Maulding, Paxton; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
